Advice from home is finished, I think

Here's a close-up of some of the house blocks in my Advice from Home quilt.
Each block has real or nonsense advice.

Here's the whole thing. It's about 55 by 60 inches, a bit more square than I was hoping for. I'm wondering if I should take off the bottom border and add some more words, or my son's name? I'd like it to be longer so he can use it as a throw when he's a huge man.

oh please please please add your son's name! maybe your own too. try piecing it all out and then auditioning it with the borders intact. I have the feeling that might look really interesting to have that bit separate. maybe. wonderful wonderful quilt - I love it.

I love it! What a clever idea for this "Quilt Together"! I think you need to add your sons name too.

It looks wonderful, and your son will love it! I agree with everyone - add your son's name, and maybe yours too. And the year, for posterity's sake. ;)
