I picked up a copy of Liberated Quiltmkaing at the library yesterday and spent the evening reading it. It was fun to see so much of the stuff that I learned in Gwen's class so many years ago and it really made me want to call in sick and sew all day but, sadly, the sewing will need to wait until the weekend.
I am wondering if there was any more news about the possibility of having this great book republished?

how about some chicken coops
Juliann here
I am excited to start another liberated project and best of all, I have the next few days off so the time is now. I have been a bit uninspired lately so I am hoping this will be a good jump start. I have made a few wonky houses in the past. I even took a 2 day liberated quiltmaking class with Gwen Marston about 12 years ago. I just need to get out my little quilt that I made in that class and remind myself of the fun. Oh, and the Collaborative Quilting book is waiting at the library for me so maybe I better get off the computer and down to the library.
