My neighbourhood is growing. Since I'm building these from scraps and stash, I'm using different skies for the houses -- a nice clear blue like the one I often see on the Canadian prairies, the white one for a snowy day, the northern lights, and a dark night time one. Each block so far has some advice (or maybe nonsense), and I've started on the words too.Thursday, October 9, 2008
Brenda's neighbourhood wisdom

I love the look of the different sky fabrics.
loving it. very fun. and hey - rickrack!
OK, the rick rack was a lazy, liberated thing -- there wasn't enough contrast between the sky and the house, so instead of changing the sky, I outlined the house with an old package of rickrack. everything old is new again -- didn't we all wear it long ago?
Love what you are doing with the word fabric. I have been collecting it and I think that I LOVE it on the houses. Rick rack can solve a world of problems!
